About The TMJ Clinic:
The TMJ Clinic is a massage therapy clinic located in Owen Sound, ON, focused on the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). We understand the debilitating effects of this condition and we’re dedicated to offering a non-invasive treatment option that improves our clients quality of life.
We help our clients to be able to eat their favorite foods without pain, and reduce medication use for relief. We help them return to being fully present with their loved ones, free from the distraction of persistent headaches and jaw discomfort. That’s the reality we strive to create for each and every one of our clients.
Our team creates personalized treatment plans tailored to address specific symptoms and underlying causes. We aim to not only alleviate pain but also empower our clients to take control of their TMJD.
How You Will Spend Your Time:
- Evaluate clients to understand their specific symptoms, triggers, and any underlying causes contributing to their TMJD.
- Treatment Planning: Based on the assessment findings you will develop a treatment plan tailored to the individual needs of the clients
- Educate clients on home care exercises to manage their condition, support ongoing relief and prevent future flare-ups.
- Collaboration with Other Healthcare Providers like myofunctional therapists and dentists to coordinate treatment plans, share insights about client progress, or refer out
- Maintain detailed treatment notes
- Reschedule clients after appointment
- Process payments
- Clean treatment room after each appointment according to clinic and IPAC standards

Requirements:
- Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
Available Shifts:
Monday- Friday
Day & Evening shifts available
Job Type:
Part-Time working into Full-Time role
Pay:
$60-$105 to start
